Pika Labs

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026
In short: we collect what's needed to generate your images and videos, send your uploaded photos to the AI providers you're generating with, store your results so you can find them in your library, and delete raw uploads on a schedule rather than keeping them indefinitely. We don't sell your data.

1. Who we are

Pika Labs is developed and operated by Vidjar ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Pika Labs app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Device and session information. On first launch we assign your device an anonymous session identifier. We do not require you to create an account with an email or password to use core features.

Content you provide. Photos or images you upload, and any text prompts you write, in order to generate content.

Generated content. The images and videos our AI models produce from your uploads and prompts.

Usage data. Which screens you open and which controls you use, with timestamps, plus non-personal details of each action — for example which AI model a render used, which settings were chosen, and how many credits it cost. We use this only to understand which parts of the app are useful and to fix the parts that are not. We never collect the text of your prompts, your photos, your searches or your file names in this data.

Device and technical data. The app version and build you are running, your device model and operating system version, your language, region and time zone, and the anonymous session and install identifiers described above. Plus the standard server logs our infrastructure keeps to operate the service securely and reliably. We use no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking service, we do not collect an advertising identifier, and we do not track you across other apps or websites — usage data is processed only on our own servers.

Purchase information. If you buy credits or a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made and its details (product, amount, date) — we never see or store your card details.

3. How we use your information

4. Third-party AI processing

To generate your content, the photos and prompts you submit are sent to third-party AI model providers through our processing partner. Depending on the model or template you choose, this may include providers such as Google, xAI, OpenAI, Kuaishou, and MiniMax. These providers process your content solely to generate the output you requested and are contractually engaged as our service providers — they do not use your content to advertise to you.

Automated safety checks. Your prompts, uploaded photos and generated results are checked automatically for content our Terms prohibit, using an AI model hosted by Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider. These checks do not train any model, and we do not keep their content beyond the normal retention described below.

5. Data retention

Photos you upload to generate content are typically retained for a limited period (currently up to 7 days) to allow processing and delivery of your results, after which they are deleted from our active systems. Generated outputs remain available in your library until you delete them or delete your account. If you delete your account, we delete your content within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records by law.

Usage data is kept in detailed form for up to 90 days and afterwards only as daily totals, which carry no identifier for you or your device.

6. How we share information

We share information only with:

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can delete individual generations from your library at any time in the app. To request deletion of your account and associated data, or to exercise other privacy rights, contact us at contact@vidjar.net.

8. Children's privacy

Pika Labs is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at contact@vidjar.net and we will delete it.

9. Data security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International data transfers

Our infrastructure and service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
